Geelong recruit Tyson Stengle is on track be the first delisted free agent to be an All-Australian amid his stellar first season at the club, according to Kangaroos legend David King.
After failing to make his mark in stints at Richmond and Adelaide, Stengle has had a profound impact in his inaugural year at the sixth-placed Cats in one of the recruiting stories of the year.
He’s booted 23 goals from 11 games to sit 11th in the Coleman Medal — the second-best return of any small forward after only Brisbane’s Charlie Cameron — while Stengle also ranks 15th in the AFL in score involvements.
