Australia’s most expensive semi-detached: Bellevue Hill home sells for $15,602,000 at auction

A semi-detached house has sold to a young family for a national record, beating the previous record by $4m.

And the vendors have made $1.2m for every year they’ve owned it.

The Bellevue Hill residence of Linda Martin and her husband, Benjamin Caplan, sold for an incredible $15,602,000 at auction last night at TRG Founder Gavin Rubinstein’s auction rooms.

But then the vendors obviously knew what they were doing when they bought the three-storey semi a decade ago, for $3.5m — Martin is a property valuer..

They’d completed a cosmetic renovation last year of the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home with double garage at 135 Victoria Rd.
