Wallabies stood down, Australia vs All Blacks, Bledisloe Cup, time, teams

Dave Rennie is hoping the decision to leave out three players will “galvanise” the Wallabies as they attempt to snap their 35-year winless run at Eden Park against the All Blacks.

On Wednesday, Rugby Australia announced star winger Marika Koroibete, as well as incumbent No.8 Isi Naisarani and uncapped prop Pone Fa’amausili, had been left out of the opening Bledisloe Test on Saturday.

The decision will likely see Harry Wilson return at the back of the scrum, while Jordan Petaia and Tom Wright will likely compete for the vacant wing position to join Tom Banks and Reece Hodge in the back three.
