A hamstring injury ended Shaun Johnson’s Sharks career and it appears the playmaker has been dealt another blow on his exit from the club.
WWOS reports Johnson is returning home to New Zealand tomorrow but will not be paid for the final month of his contract.
It is reported to be worth around $60,000 and WWOS reports the decision to not pay the money caught the playmaker by surprise.
Johnson is off to the Warriors next season, heading home on a two-year deal.
