It’s been a frantic first half – and the last play was nothing short of bonkers.
The Eels had a scrum feed, and looked to get an attacking play away.
Waqa Blake looked to put it to boot, and it was charged down by Harper, who gathered the Steeden and look off down the wing.
He was chased down by Blake, who managed to get the ball back. Penisini then sprinted back through the middle, and the Eels looked to be rolling, before Makatoa was bought down on the Sea Eagles 40m line.
“The last minute of the first half might be the best minute we have seen all year. What a game we have,” Mat Thompson exclaimed.
At half time, we’re tied up 14-all.
