The Eels’ top four hopes have copped a major blow with star enforcer Reagan Campbell-Gillard not expected to return from a groin injury until the finals.
Campbell-Gillard suffered the injury in Parramatta’s Round 20 loss to the Roosters. The club released a statement earlier this week saying the 28-year-old was out indefinitely.
However, coach Brad Arthur revealed on Thursday that Campbell-Gillard is unlikely to feature in any of the Eels’ remaining games of the regular season.

“Obviously a lot of his power comes from his groin so it’s one where we have to wait and see but I’ve been told to plan around having him for the start of the finals but not before,” Arthur said.
