Parramatta star Blake Ferguson remains deep in conversation with Super Rugby franchise the Western Force, but Wallabies legend Matt Burke has warned the challenges facing Ferguson making a successful code switch.
Ferguson is on the Force’s radar with the off-contract Eels flyer out of favour at the club and currently not playing NRL due to injury.
The situation has prompted the former NSW and Australian representative to test his value on the open market, including rugby union.

The Force recently confirmed its interest in Ferguson, with CEO Tony Lewis declaring: “We believe Blake would be an exceptional rugby player. We think he is good enough to play international rugby.”
