Tough Manly Warringah Sea Eagles winger Raymond Tuaimalo Vaega has signed a one-year deal with the club for 2024.
Since making his NRL debut for the Sea Eagles against Canberra at GIO Stadium in round 24 last year, Tuaimalo Vaega has played nine games for Manly.
A powerful, hard running winger and strong defender, Tuaimalo Vaega made 20 tackle breaks and four line breaks in his seven games for Manly in 2023. He also crossed for two tries.
Manly Coach Anthony Seibold said there was plenty of natural improvement in the 23-year-old.
“Ray showed this year that he is an aggressive outside back,” Seibold said.
“There were some really positive performances, particularly against the Melbourne Storm at 4 Pines Park in round six. I thought he was outstanding that night.
“He showed at the back end of the year that he could play at this (NRL) level.
