New Zealand international offered to Super League clubs as more NRL options emerge

Super League clubs have been offered New Zealand international Ken Maumalo, Rugby League Live can reveal. The Kiwi international, 29, has emerged as an option for clubs after his representatives put out the feelers earlier this week.


Maumalo is an outside back who has played internationally for both Samoa and New Zealand, making two of his appearances for the Kiwis in their victories over Great Britain in 2019. His NRL career started in 2015, making his debut for the Warriors and he remained there for seven seasons before joining Wests Tigers in 2021. He was granted a release from the club earlier this year and signed for Gold Coast Titans, though he has yet to make an appearance this season. In total, Maumalo has made 135 NRL appearances, scoring 63 tries.



The winger signed a three-year contract with the Titans but he has now been granted permission to pursue a deal elsewhere and that has seen him made available to clubs in Super League next season. He has spent…
