No Coorparoo police as Wallabies Toutai Kefu injured

Worrying claims have been made about the lack of police presence in the Brisbane suburb of Coorparoo after Wallabies legend Toutai Kefu was stabbed in his family home on Monday.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder after Kefu was left fighting for life when three people allegedly broke into his house at 3am yesterday.

Police will allege a “brutal and violent” brawl erupted after the group were caught breaking into the Buena Vista Ave home, resulting in knives being brandished and Kefu being stabbed in the stomach.

He was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition with abdominal wounds and later underwent life-saving surgery. His wife, son and daughter were also injured in the incident and taken to hospital.
