The rumours may suggest his job is not safe in the Hunter, but Anthony Seibold has been credited for improving the Knights’ defence.

Utility Kurt Mann told reporters on Tuesday that Seibold has been overseeing their defence at training and he believes they team has “really improved” in that area.

“We defended a lot better compared to where we were at the start of the year,” Mann said.
“There’s definitely a few areas we’ve improved in, our effort areas and that sort of stuff.
