The Daily Telegraph’s Paul Crawley has called for James Tedesco to be axed in favour of Latrell Mitchell if the Rabbitohs superstar is fit for Game II.

The Blues’ captain delivered an underwhelming performance NSW’s loss in the series opener and was met with a wave of criticism by fans and pundits.

However, Tedesco hit back with a strong performance against the Bulldogs, scoring two tries within five minutes to steer the Roosters to victory.

Speaking in the post-match press conference, Tedesco conceded criticism was all “part of the game”.
