The South Sydney Rabbitohs are set to be without Latrell Mitchell for the rest of the season after the fullback was charged for a late hit on Joey Manu.
Mitchell was charged with grade two reckless high tackle on Manu for the incident which saw him sent to the sin bin and left his ex-teammate with a fractured cheekbone.

The Rabbitohs fullback is facing six games with the early plea and nine if found guilty at the panel.
Mitchell has four non-similar offences in the last two years which carry 20 per cent loading and contributed to his penalty.
