Kyle Flanagan’s NRL revival was extremely short-lived with the 22-year-old half dropped — once again — from the Bulldogs’ side ahead of Sunday’s clash with the Wests Tigers.
Flanagan first got the axe after Round 9. He returned to the side in the Bulldogs’ Round 16 66-nil loss only to be dropped again the following week.
He was recalled last weekend in place of off-contract Lachie Lewis with the club focusing on building for next season but a 34-6 loss to the Titans has seen Flanagan dropped a third time this season in a host of changes by coach Trent Barrett.

Rugby league legend Laurie Daley was fairly blunt when asked whether Barrett should be giving Flanagan more than just one game to prove himself.
