Andrew Voss and Greg Alexander have blasted the penalty given against Bulldogs second-rower Joe Stimson after his hair pull on Manly front-rower Marty Taupau.
In the 62nd minute of Manly’s 36-18 win over the Bulldogs, Stimson went to grab Taupau’s jersey and inadvertently got a chunk of his long braids instead.
“A high tackle their wasn’t much to it at all,” Andrew Voss said on Fox League.

“His hair is f***ing that long,” Stimson said to referee Chris Sutton.
“You can’t pull him by the hair it is on report,” Sutton said.
“He has grabbed him by the hair is the penalty,” Voss said.
“Not a high tackle. They are saying he grabbed him by the hair.
“Oh come on. He let it go straight away he is going to make a tackle….
