In a U-turn perhaps too good to be true, Titans hardman Jarrod Wallace says he and Warriors recruit Matt Lodge have kissed and made up.
Speaking on Fox Sports’ NRL 360, Wallace played down any chance he and Lodge could get in the ring on NRL Fight Night to sort out their differences and said Sunday’s brawl was simply some gamesmanship as the Titans attempted to seal their finals fate.
“I don’t think so,” Wallace said, batting away the chances they would get in the ring.
“It was a heated moment that we had on the field.
“Me and Lodgey are good mates and I respect him a lot and we’ve had a lot of battles over the years and I really enjoy him a lot.
“He’s a fantastic player and he’s a great guy off the field.
“We obviously had a lot to riding on on the weekend and I had to do something and I obviously got in his head a little bit….
