Connor Watson has opened up on the phone call with Trent Robinson that led to the Roosters offering him a two-year deal.
Watson officially put pen to paper earlier this week and next season he will return to the club that he made his NRL debut for back in 2016.
The rumour mill was sent into a spin when it was reported that the 25-year-old had been personally calling coaches of rival clubs.
Watson confirmed on Wednesday that he had picked up the phone — but it was to call one coach and simply to get some advice.
