Paul Kent has warned Parramatta will be on “fast track to oblivion” if it is not smart with negotiations involving fullback Clint Gutherson.
Gutherson’s management is reportedly looking for up to $1 million per season after taking a substantial pay cut to stay at Parramatta on his last deal.
The 26-year-old dismissed those claims last week, declaring he had “no clue” where the million-dollar figure came from.

While Gutherson strongly denies the price tag, he is off-contract at the end of the 2022 season and will be able to negotiate with rival clubs from November 1 this year.
