Tigers coach Benji Marshall has reportedly made a secret visit to Jarome Luai’s house to recruit the gun playmaker. Marshall, who will enter his first full season as coach of the Tigers in 2024, pitched a move to the struggling club for Luai, discussing the merit in making the cross-town switch. Luai, who has won three premierships in three consecutive seasons with the Panthers, has been offered a $1.7 million extension over two years by Penrith. Both Luai and Marshall have similar playing styles and Luai has previously revealed that Marshall was his idol growing up. As of now, no formal offer has been made for Luai.
