Perth Lynx centre Lauren Scherf has played a crucial part in making a key signing for the upcoming WNBL season, with her close friend and housemate Chloe Bibby joining the club.
Bibby first played WNBL at 15 and was part of the same Dandenong Rangers team as Scherf. They have remained close friends despite Bibby moving to the US to play college basketball and are now NBL1 teammates and housemates in Victoria.
“Loz and I were playing together before I went to college so she told me good things about Perth,” Bibby said.
“I was only a kid back then but now I’ve been to college and really built my game. I got to watch pros like Penny Taylor on that Dandenong team so being able to learn from what they did and use that at college was amazing.
