Star goalkeeper Joe Hart says the Hoops have total belief in Ange Postecoglou’s “tough football” as Celtic continue their resurgence under the former Socceroos boss.
Postecoglou guided Celtic to a fifth successive win on Thursday morning, with the Glasgow giants taking a big step towards qualification for the Europa League group stage with a 2-0 home victory over Dutch club AZ Alkmaar.
Japanese striker Kyogo Furuhashi continued his good form to give Celtic the lead after just 12 minutes when he made the most of a cross from Socceroos playmaker Tom Rogic to score his sixth goal in six appearances for the Hoops.
Winger James Forrest sealed the first-leg playoff win – Celtic’s fifth straight success in all competitions – in the 61st minute with a shot that deflected off defender Timo Letschert on its way to the back of the net.
