South Sydney’s premiership aspirations have copped a hit with veteran winger Josh Mansour suffering a season-ending knee injury.
Mansour was taken off the field in the second half during Friday’s loss to Penrith after sustaining a cut and suspected knee injury.
The former Panthers flyer was left battered and bruised as his ex-club physically went after him.
Souths halfback Adam Reynolds revealed Mansour was expected to be sidelined for the rest of the year.
“He (Josh) has done his knee – I’m not too sure how bad it is, but I don’t think he will play any part with us this season, which is unfortunate,” Reynolds said about Mansour, who scored 10 tries in 11 games for the Rabbitohs this season.
