Former Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has confirmed he told North Melbourne CEO Ben Amarfio he would “absolutely not” consider a return to coaching in 2023.
Buckley and Amarfio were photographed during a walk this week – the same week in which the Kangaroos parted ways with David Noble after 38 games at the helm.
Speaking on Fox Footy’s Best On Ground, Buckley said he had been catching up with Amarfio every so often throughout the year.

“He’s been going through the ringer, he’s been copping it a little bit so I’ve been checking in with him to see how he’s going. We’re great mates,” Buckley said.
