As the golfing community is ripped in two by the emergence of LIV Golf, Greg Norman says he is “baffled” the PGA has not come to the table yet to thrash things out.

“(PGA Tour commissioner) Jay Monahan, if he had the decency to take our meetings right from the get-go none of this stuff would be in place today,” Norman told The Palm Beach Post in a Q&A

“The game of golf would be in a much better place. The Tour would be in a much better place. European golf would be in a much better place.”

Despite the drama and brilliance on display at the Old Course in St Andrews, where the unheralded Cameron Smith putt his way to the Open Championship, golf is in the midst of a civil war.
