Hawthorn legend Jordan Lewis has ripped North Melbourne for sacking former coach David Noble a season and a half into his tenure, calling it a “weak organisation” that has long failed to provide support to its senior bosses.
The 18th-placed Kangaroos this week parted ways with Noble amid the club’s horror 1-15 season, which included a 14-game losing streak, as it now begins its search for a third full-time senior coach in the space of three years.
Noble finished with a 5-1-32 record — the equal second-worst winning percentage of all VFL/AFL coaches to coach at least 30 games.
