An extraordinary general meeting taking place at Collingwood has been all but ruled out, after aspiring Collingwood president Jeff Browne softened his stance this week.
Browne, who aims to replace incumbent Collingwood president Mark Korda, has confirmed he has now begun a process to spill all seven director positions at the club at their annual general meeting scheduled for December 16.
“I have always supported an orderly election to refresh the board at Collingwood and to address the leadership vacuum that exists,” Browne told Channel 9’s Footy Classified in a statement.

“No amount of brave performances by our football team can mask the problems at board level.
“A refresh is best achieved after the season at the club’s AGM in December.
