North Melbourne’s No.1 draft pick Jason Horne-Francis was “cautioned” by the club after taking an interstate trip without their knowledge before a recent injury.
SEN reports Horne-Francis flew home to Adelaide after Round 8’s loss to Fremantle in Perth, right after flying back to Melbourne with his teammates, visiting his family for Mother’s Day.
With players having an off-day on Monday, he did not miss any club activities but following four flights in a short period, was forced to miss Round 9 with hamstring tightness.
