Retiring Saints veteran Jarryn Geary has delivered an emotional address to his teammates after calling time on his AFL career.
It was confirmed on Thursday that Geary was hanging up the boots, effective immediately, after 207 AFL games for St Kilda since making his debut in 2008 including captaining the club from 2017 to 2021.
The 34-year old battled several injuries over the last four seasons — a quad issue that required emergency surgery, a broken leg and shoulder reconstruction — restricting him to just 24 games over that span.
