Veteran sports journalist Robert ‘Crash’ Craddock has warned that Australia’s biggest male golf stars could quit the PGA Tour en masse due to Greg Norman’s “tremendous pulling power”.
Speaking on The Back Page, Craddock warned that LIV Golf chief Norman is a massively influential figure to his countrymen on the Tour, who are reportedly weighing up defecting.
Among them is newly-crowned Champion Golfer of the Year, Cameron Smith, who didn’t deny claims he’s in talks with the Saudi-backed circuit when asked on Monday (AEST).
