Sydney’s most exclusive golf club has dismissed reports it was encouraging members to exploit a loophole in public health orders by suggesting members from affluent north shore suburb Mosman take a water taxi to the Harbourside course.

Royal Sydney GC is located at Rose Bay in Sydney’s eastern suburbs and has hosted the Australian Open 15 times, while its members are some of the city’s most prominent people.
It is believed the initiation fee to join is more than $20,000 (new members have to be invited to join), while the annual fee is about $5000.
