Bryson DeChambeau has earned a reputation for his extraordinary distance off the tee and on Sunday it left a squirrel scrambling for cover.
DeChambeau’s drive on 17 veered towards the left and took one bounce in the penalty area before bouncing back out in a stroke of fortune for the 27-year old.
He was not the only lucky one though with a squirrel also just getting out of the way as it dodged the incoming ball.

DeChambeau ended up walking off 17 with a par and ended with a bogey-free 68 to sit three shots off the lead at the end of the round.
Earlier he made seven-foot birdie putts at the first and sixth holes and holed an eight-footer at the par-5 13th.
