Australian Min Woo Lee wins Scottish Open after playoff

Min Woo Lee became the 11th Australian to join the field at this week’s British Open after a stunning Sunday charge in wet conditions in Scotland finished with him holding the trophy as the Scottish Open winner.

It continued a golden seven days for Australian golf and comes after countryman Lucas Herbert, who finished one shot behind Lee in Scotland, won the Irish Open last weekend.

The Scottish Open also provided veteran Australian Wade Ormsby with something to remember – 204 bottles of Glengoyne Highland Single Malt Scotch whisky – his reward for making a hole-in-one on the 204-yard 12th hole.
