Geoff Toovery, six again rule scrapped, NRL rules changes, Sea Eagles coach, Ricky Stuart, referee apology, Dragons and Raiders clash, robbed

Rugby league legend Geoff Toovey has called for the NRL to scrap the six-again rule after the Raiders were denied a clear penalty in the dying moments in their loss to the Dragons.

Coach Ricky Stuart said “tomorrow I’ll get an apology” in the Round 16 post-match press conference — and he was right.

NRL head of football Graham Annesley admitted Dragons playmaker Ben Hunt should have been penalised on three separate occasions, but instead the Raiders received a six-again call as the final siren sounded.
