Football Victoria (FV) is proud to host the inaugural Women’s Health Week Walking Football Tournament at Keilor Basketball Stadium on Friday, September 9.
Walking Football provides a safe and fun space for seniors to keep active and be social in their community with 17 teams entered in the tournament from various walking hubs across Victoria.
There are 20 walking hubs operating across the state, each location having participants aged from 45 to 82 years old.
Program Manager Abraham Abraham said the day was going to be an enjoyable event for all involved.
‘Join us as we celebrate Women’s Health Week through a fun and social tournament for seniors,” he said.
“The event will be held in the west promoting health activities which are sometimes missing within the western suburbs.”
