Former NRL, Warriors star to make international rugby debut

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is set to make his All Blacks debut off the bench this weekend in a highly anticipated series decider against Ireland in Wellington.

The 2018 NRL Dally M medallist will don the famous black jersey for the first time in a Test match as he completes his incredible transition back to the sport from rugby league.

Tuivasa-Sheck was one of six uncapped players named in the All Blacks’ extended squad last month after starring for the Blues in Super Rugby Pacific this year.

He’s set to become All Blacks number 1204 on Saturday.

“Yeah that’s pretty crazy to be honest. Unreal just to even be in camp, be walking around the fern on your chest,” Tuivasa-Sheck told the All Blacks.
