Frustrations have grown at the delay of Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s proposed deal at Manchester United, with fears that the club’s January transfer plans could be ruined.
Ratcliffe hoped to have secured his £1.4billion deal by now, but there are no guarantees it will be wrapped up before the end of the international break. The 71-year-old is set to buy a 25 per cent stake in United, with the INEOS chief ready to overhaul the football operations.
