Scott Pendlebury contract, player-coach, leaving Collingwood, teams interested, Fremantle, Gold Coast, news

Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury says he would consider moving to another club if it involved a future coaching commitment as well.

While saying he’s yet to speak with any other clubs and saying he “really wants to be a one-club player”, the champion midfielder told Triple M’s Sunday Rub at some point he would “like to step away from that football club (Collingwood) and get some experience elsewhere”.

Pendlebury remains uncontracted for next year with a one-year playing deal at the Magpies discussed thus far.

“At this stage it’s a one-year deal. If I sign with Collingwood, at this stage it’s a one year deal,” Pendlebury said.
