Newcastle United are searching for a head of partnership development to secure ‘high-value’ deals in a bid to boost revenues.
The new recruit will work closely with Jonathan Kane, Newcastle’s director of partnerships, who arrived from Liverpool earlier this year, in order to increase the club’s commercial clout and, in turn, enable the Magpies to spend more in the transfer market within Financial Fair Play regulations.
According to the job advert, the head of partnership development will be tasked with clinching ‘high-value partnership deals’ and leading the club’s global sales effort. It will fall to the new arrival to pitch and present ‘high-quality, bespoke propositions’ to potential commercial partners; build and manage a ‘high-performing’ sales team; and create and maintain a ‘high-level pipeline’ of potential clients.
