West Coast star Dom Sheed has “reached out to apologise” to Jordan de Goey for comments he made regarding the length of ban the Magpie should get for his bump that left a teen Eagle concussed.
Sheed went on radio and called for de Goey to get “a good month or two” as punishment for the hit that floored rookie Elijah Hewett at Optus Stadium on Saturday.
But he was widely condemned for his remarks, with AFL great Jimmy Bartel labelling the comments “uneducated” and “taking the p*ss” in scathing criticism.
