Victoria is shaping to miss out on the 2021 finals series entirely with Gill McLachlan confirming empty stadiums won’t host finals, and a deadline on the Grand Final venue call now set.
A decision on the flag decider will be made by late next week, according to the AFL CEO, and Victoria won’t be hosting any finals over the next two weeks as its lockdown continues.
There is a very slim possibility the state could host games after that but Perth is the raging hot favourite.
