Sydney superstar Lance Franklin is one of a number of big-name stars rested for Round 22, with the AFL considering scrapping the pre-finals bye.
Franklin will miss the Swans’ clash with North Melbourne making it that much harder for him to reach 1000 goals this season. He currently sits on 986.
“He’s played thirteen games in a row, including seven since the bye so it’s time to make sure he’s rested up,” Swans coach John Longmire said.
