Carlton coach David Teague says the Blues haven’t “nailed” their football department review process, conceding he would’ve loved more public support from the club amid ample headlines about his future.
With one game remaining in the club’s 2021 campaign, new Blues president Luke Sayers on Wednesday said the review was “reaching its final stages”, promising members they’d be provided “summarised findings”.
Despite the dominant external view he won’t see out his contract – and Ross Lyon’s willingness to accept and consider a call from Carlton, should it come his way – Teague said he was still planning as if he was going to remain as the Blues’ senior coach next year.
