Carlton coach David Teague has revealed Richmond coach Damien Hardwick was one of a number of coaches to reach out to him and offer support as his tenure faces increasing pressure approaching season’s end.
The Blues board will today receive findings from their commissioned external review into the football department, with Teague’s position under significant scrutiny after another year below expectations.
Speaking at his weekly press conference on Thursday, Teague revealed Hardwick had offered his support having gone through a similarly turbulent period before his side’s breakthrough premiership in 2017.
