Barcelona new arrival has erased all doubts some staff members had about him – report

Since arriving on the summer transfer deadline day, Joao Felix has played just two times for FC Barcelona thus far but already seems to be making an impression.

After a lively cameo on his debut against CA Osasuna, the 23-year-old scored his first goal for the club this past weekend against Real Betis on his first start, while some of his combination and link-up play with Alejandro Balde and Robert Lewandowski was enticing.

Erasing all doubts

It is no secret that Felix’s signing did not have a complete unanimous agreement among Barcelona’s technical staff.

In fact, it was reported on multiple occasions that manager Xavi Hernandez himself had some doubts about his acquisition, even though he has since denied such speculations.

Now, Adrian Sanchez is reporting that there were indeed some members in the staff who had doubts over Felix and how he would fit into the scheme of things…
