AFL trade news: Melbourne set to lose two players with Toby Bedford and Jayden Hunt to depart

Melbourne are set to lose two more players in the upcoming AFL trade period with Toby Bedford and Jayden Hunt to join Luke Jackson in departing the club.

7NEWS reporter Mitch Cleary revealed Bedford has requested a trade to the GWS Giants in a massive blow to the Demons.

Drafted to the club with pick No.75 in 2018, the 22-year-old featured in 16 games this year, but started as the sub in eight of those matches.

The speedy forward still impressed in his limited time and kicked multiple goals in three matches this year. He was also a member of Casey’s premiership-winning side in the VFL.
