North Melbourne great David King believes under-siege Carlton coach David Teague “shouldn’t go to work tomorrow” amid speculation that the club will part ways with him.
The Blues are preparing to announce the findings of their external review next week as Teague’s future hangs in the balance, with the third-year coach admitting himself his tenure is likely to come to an end despite being contracted for 2022.
Teague’s manager Liam Pickering earlier this week hit out at Carlton’s handling of the matter and took aim at ex-Saints and Dockers coach Ross Lyon for publicly lobbying for the potential opening.
