Gilas Pilipinas are just one win away from adding another men’s 5×5 basketball gold medal to the Philippines’ treasure chest after a one-sided 87-44 thrashing of a weary Malaysia side in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi.
All that’s standing between Gilas and a record 19th SEA Games gold are Indonesia, who are also undefeated heading into their clash with hosts Vietnam on Saturday night.
