Collingwood star Mason Cox has become an Australian citizen, capping off a remarkable journey for the American import.
Amid a week to forget for the Pies, Cox offered some good news after receiving his citizenship during a ceremony at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The 31-year-old Cox was born and raised in suburban Dallas, in Texas, and was a part of his high school’s soccer team, who won a state championship.
