Dual premiership Kangaroo David King says he has great sympathy for Carlton coach David Teague, who’s received “poor” and “humiliating” treatment from the Blues.
Teague’s position is in jeopardy as the Blues board mulls over the independent review into the club’s football department in the final stages of the team’s disappointing 2021 campaign.
Teague took over from Brendon Bolton as a caretaker midway through the 2019 season before being appointed to the role full-time. And despite his short time in the gig and the fact he’s contracted until the end of 2022, it’s been widely speculated Teague is unlikely to be at the helm next year.
