“Sense Of Discrmination”-Indian Women Cricketers Denied Training During Quarantine In Australia: Reports

India Women cricket team reached Australia for a full tour against the mighty Australian team, The side will play a Tets match, three ODIs and as many T20Is against the Aussies. Meanwhile, ahead of the series, the Indian women cricketers are asked to maintain a hard quarantine period of two weeks. The players are kept inside small hotel rooms and are even denied practice.

There is a sense of discrimination among the squad as they are denied the basic facilities being international cricketers.

“Players are not able to practice much in the rooms provided during the quarantine period. The rooms are very small. You can barely manage to do some training. There are no guards manning the place like the players witnessed in the UK but the quarantine is very strict” The BCCI official said.
